EXQUISITEPAIR OF FINE FIGURATIVE STATUESLARGECHINESE MADE IN ITALYTERRACOTTAPOTTERY1950sFANTONI ZACCAGNINI STYLE. Both pieces are in good vintage condition. Both are draped in white robes. Both figures are missing three nails on right hand and one nail on left hand which were long in the Chinese Imperial style The male figure mustache is shorter on left side.

Female statue shows signs of repair behind her arm and bottom corner of her robe part of her right eyebrow is missing please see last 5 pics. There is light crazing on the robes and may need a cleaning. I bought these years ago and have had them on my buffet table and I never noticed there nails or mustache or repairs I always thought they were perfect.

They are just amazing to sit and look at. The male has clear eyes and the female has blue eyes.

I have spent months trying to find statues like these. I did see a statue with the same Signed Select Imports Italy on the bottom and they said it was made for Raymor also they do look a lot like some statues I saw signed Marcello Fantoni & Ugo Zaccagnini. All I know is that these are Stunning. Produced in Mid Century Modern Era.
